The Burman Bobcats, Burman University’s women’s soccer team, at the start of their 2018-2019 season, decided that they would like their soccer goals to count in more ways than one. For each goal scored, the team decided, they would contribute money from sponsors to make an athletic field at MANS a reality.

The project was the brainchild of Stephanie Ferguson, who presented a cheque for $2,829.36 to the student association president at Mamawi Atosketan Native School for their athletic field. “We hope that our efforts can help create a good opportunity for future MANS graduates to come join our team,” said Ferguson.
